Short Courses - Health Sciences

Growth monitoring is one of the modules to be covered. In this course, you will be expected to understand more on growth monitoring and its benefits when it comes to health of an under-five child. During practical session, you will be required to practice weighing, height and MUAC check for a child.

The objectives include

1. Define growth monitoring

2. Understand the parameters of the under-five card

3. Demonstrate the ability conduct growth monitoring (weighing, height check and MUAC)

3.  Demonstrate the ability to plot and interpret the under-five card
